Goose Moto
GOOSE MOTO is an original 8-bit arcade racer built for muhamad.org. Small goose. Loud bike. Bad decisions.
Race a 3-kilometer dirt course across four lanes of ramps, puddles, and poultry — solo against the clock, or head-to-head against THE SHADOW: a caped rival goose with a slightly faster bike, a taste for showing off (it does its own flips), and no mercy on the rubber-band. Either way, the eternal question stands: can you hold the wheelie one more second before the front wheel comes up too far and the whole thing goes feathers-over-fender?
The riding
- Throttle and heat. Hold the gas and the engine heats; redline it and it coughs and dumps your speed. Feathering the throttle is the racer's real skill.
- Wheelies bank points for as long as you hold them — and crash you if you get greedy.
- Ramps come in three flavors (wedges, kickers, tables) across 100+ jumps. Speed decides your air.
- Flips. Lean back hard off a lip for backflips, lean forward for the braver front flip. Land clean for a BUTTERY bonus; land on your head and there's a whole animation about it.
- Glide. Tap F mid-air and the goose spreads its wings. It is a goose, after all.
- Honk (H). Geese cross the track. Honk early and they waddle off politely (+points, good karma). Plow through at speed and it's HONK-SCARE mayhem (+more points, worse karma). Your finish awards remember which kind of rider you were.
- Splash puddles, spray mud, find the one golden puddle — and chain everything into combos. Combos now feed a BOOST meter: string tricks together and the bike runs hot past its own top speed for a few glorious seconds.
- Crashes lay eggs. Sometimes one. Sometimes two. Sometimes cracked. Nobody discusses it, least of all the goose.
Cross the line and the goose takes a victory lap it did not ask permission for — including a look back over the shoulder: "EAT MY FEATHERS!"
Every run ends with a score, your local best, and up to four style awards (FRONT FLIP HERO, WHEELIE WIZARD, POLITE RIDER, ROAD GOOSE MAYHEM...) that describe how you rode, not just how fast.
The Shadow
Pick RIVAL RACE on the title screen and a purple-caped stranger lines up beside you. The Shadow's bike tops out a shade faster than yours, it takes the jumps with theatrical flair, and the race bar at the top of the screen tracks you both to the flag. Beat it to the line and the "EAT MY FEATHERS!" hits different. Lose, and the cape billows all the way through its victory lap.

v33: twice per run a V of five Canada geese migrates across the sky against traffic. Clip one mid-flip and you drop out of the sky (eggs and all); thread the flock level or gliding and you take a wobble and pocket FLOCK BUZZ boost points. Either way the geese scatter, dip, and regroup — and buzzing both flocks earns the FLOCK WHISPERER award.
