about this site...
about this site…muhamad.org started life in the early 2000s as a blue, table-based sandbox where I tried to make sense of HTML, CSS, and whatever JavaScript I could duct tape together. Two decades, many servers, and a few careers later, this is still my favorite corner of the internet.
Today the site is a home base for the things I care about most: building tools, telling stories, and occasionally over-engineering something that could have been done in a spreadsheet.
What you’ll find here
– Notes and essays about projects I’m working on (from medical software to kids’ books).
– Links to things I actually use and recommend, not just a wall of affiliate buttons.
– A small archive of the original muhamad.org, preserved purely for nostalgia and embarrassment.
Nerdy details
This version of muhamad.org is powered by Laravel, MySQL, and a custom design that nods to the old site’s blue theme without recreating every pixel. Pages and subpages are all database-driven now, which means I can add or rearrange sections quickly without ripping everything apart.
