Islam
Islam means submission to God, the One True Creator. Muslims are ones who submit to God, the One True Creator. Muslims share a belief in one God, Allah, and the complete submission to His will through worship, obedience, and righteous living. To be a Muslim means to live in full devotion to God alone, following His guidance. From the Muslim perspective, Islam did not begin with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) 1,400 years ago, but is the original and eternal faith of all God's prophets and messengers, as well as from the beginning of creation. Even every angel created from the very first are Muslim. Every prophet, from Adam to Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and finally Muhammad (peace be upon them all), called their people to worship one God and submit to Him, which is the essence of Islam, making them all Muslim. All who sincerely submitted to God were considered Muslims, regardless of time or place.

The Qur’an is the final revelation from God, sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a complete and preserved message for all of humanity. It is unaltered, unmatched in language and content, and serves as the primary source of guidance. The Sunnah, preserved through authentic Hadith, records the teachings, sayings, and actions of the Prophet Muhammad and explains how the Qur’an was lived in practice. Together, they form the foundation of Islamic belief, law, and daily life.
